Production Reporting
A whole range of standard reports is built into Antares. All are designed to help you keep on top of work in hand.
You can produce daily production schedules showing all jobs in work, listed in a variety of sequences. For example, you could have a list of work in production in order of when they are required for delivery. This would highlight each day the jobs that were required today, or tomorrow, or for the next week. Using this list, you can ensure that all jobs are delivered when they were promised.
Whenever needed, you can also use Antares to produce a list of each of your machines (both print and in the finishing department), showing how much work is outstanding for them. If you are using Antares Platinum, this report will also take into account the time already spent on part-completed jobs, meaning that the report shows the total remaining time committed for each machine. This report is called “Machine Loading” and can help you even out bottlenecks on particular machines by moving urgent work to alternative machines or by deciding that some jobs must be sent as outwork to be done elsewhere.
In addition, you can produce management reports such as work-in-progress valuations, contribution forecasts, orders and invoice daybooks, commission reports and so on.
The example report on this page shows a list of all jobs in production that are needed for delivery over the next few days. This is specifically designed to help you ensure that promised delivery dates are always met.
